The multi-link channel sounder is a distinguishing feature of the ASGARD software platform. Given a network with N SDR nodes, the channel sounder application allows to estimate the NxN complex matrix of the channel responses between every couple of nodes in the network. 2x2 MIMO links are also supported.
World's first transmission of Zero-tail DFT-s-OFDM with Asgard!
Zero-tail DFT-s-OFDM is a novel modulation featuring adaptive Cyclic Prefix and lower Out-of-Band emissions than baseline OFDM, with the same complexity of an LTE uplink modem.
The zero-tail DFT-s-OFDM concept has been recently presented in the 9th Broadband Wireless Access workshop, colocated with IEEE Globecom 2013, Atlanta, Georgia.
The 4th Workshop of the COST Action IC0902, entitled " Cognitive Radio and Networking for Cooperative Coexistence of Heterogeneous Wireless Networks", has been held in Rome (Italy) from 9th to 11th October 2013.
The ASGARD/Aalborg University team was present at the event with four contributions:
